The Design Council aim to develop and create a ‘community design skills infrastructure’ across the UK. The purpose of the project is to embed a design mind and skill set with local authorities and communities enabling them to find innovative design centred solutions in combatting their local community climate challenges. The project will bring together 40 community designers across the UK to share design methods as well as 10 local authorities to work collaboratively on their local climate change challenges.
