Thriving Village Halls in Kent (360G-tnlcomfund-0045389911)

The funding will support the Thriving Village Halls in Kent (TVHIK) project which is a specialist support service to all 404 community-owned village halls spread across Kent & Medway to ensure they have the best access to advice and support to develop their ideas and communities share best practice and cost efficiencies and where appropriate resources and operate safely and within the law. The organisation will provide reactive support to 404 halls which will focus on replying to incoming queries from halls across the full range of issue inc funding safeguarding inclusion business planning support training legal inc GDPR and DBS. Proactive Support will focus on the creation of materials and opportunities to improve governance of and raise new funding/investment by village hall trustees. Other plans include a digital networking platform a suite of online training events for village hall trustees and an annual convention.
