This funding will support isolated older people in Doncaster who are at risk of losing their independence but who are keen and willing to make a change in their lives to overcome their isolation and increase their chances of remaining independent. This funding will be used to provide older people with a network of support and social connections. Over 3 years Age UK Doncaster aim to support 200 isolated older people and the project will be supported by 70 local volunteers.
