The project is using funding to reduce isolation and build friendships within the vulnerable older population of Buckinghamshire. The aim is to support the expansion of the existing befriending service by delivering a flexible service delivered by volunteer befrienders focusing on 4 strategic areas: Digital Inclusion/Connectivity Social Inclusion Culture and Interest Physical Activity. They will also provide links/referrals to other services groups and interventions/initiatives to facilitate joined-up working and non-duplication of provision.
