The project is using funding towards Adult Speech and Language Therapy sessions for people with Down’s syndrome over the age of 25. The aim is to maximise the individual’s communication skills across their home educational and social environment to give them the same opportunities as their peers. The sessions will also promote independence through social development with the aim of beneficiaries being able to progress into areas such as work or independent living.
