The project is using funding to support people from Afghanistan and Central Asia living in the UK to enable them to prosper. Services include English language classes employment workshops a women’s support group a Saturday school and homework club youth and family support services drop-in and telephone advice volunteer placements cultural and social events and an Afghan & Muslim Girls football club. The project will support people to overcome financial food and fuel poverty to feel physically healthier less lonely and more confident.
