The project will use the funding over one year to help protect vulnerable tenants at risk of losing their homes. Through the recruitment of a Senior Advice and Support Officer the project will identify the root causes of non-payment of rent which involve lack of financial capability poor mental health substance misuse release from prison and will working with tenants to build a plan to improve their tenancies and financial situation with the aim of reducing isolation and helping to keep people safe.
