This funding will support Halas Homes to develop their learning and development centre for adults with learning disabilities in Halesowen. The aim of the project is to provide meaningful learning opportunities for adults with learning disabilities and support them to either obtain paid work or use their newly acquired skills for the benefit of the local community. Halas Homes provides a range of service to adults and cares for around 45 permanent residents and tenants in their residential home and supported living houses who are due to the nature of their disability are unable to live completely independently. They also offer day opportunities to our residents tenants and other people from the local community.
