This project will support stroke survivors of working age and younger with information advice and support alongside exercise classes to recover and regain as much independence as possible. It will also focus on Black and Asian BAME communities who are at greater risk and also teenage stroke survivors with a teen and young adult befriending service pairing mentors with young stoke survivors. Weekly online exercise classes are also delivered which have been done so online for those reluctant to meet following on Covid.
