The funding will be used to provide eight lightweight defibrillators for group search bags for use by the Northumberland National Park Mountain Rescue Team which respond to approximately 150 emergency incidents a year. The lifesaving equipment will enable the group to treat cardiac arrest patients more promptly helping to improve survival rates. This aims to save lives and keep people safe.
