The funding will enable Realise Consortium (RC) to develop and become more established putting in place a more formal participation and management framework to be better positioned to function as an influential consortium for Youth Violence groups within Nottingham and Nottinghamshire. Working on the principle of collaborative information and expertise sharing RC works with the VRU using a public health approach to tackling youth violence with some of its members helping to co-design its youth work offer and youth charter. Current engaging groups are representative of many of Nottingham’s diverse communities many lived experienced and embedded and working with young people and their families to move away or prevent becoming involved in youth violence.
