The funding will support Starling CIO to continue to deliver its ‘Creative Minds’ project in Tameside. It will focus on a programme of creative wellbeing and arts workshops to reduce isolation and increase confidence of neurodivergent young people aged 13-24 years with participants from across Tameside. Starling CIO set up in 2019 and are a creative charity working with neurodivergent young people aged from 13-24 year with a focus on care experienced young people and young people who experienced trauma. Sessions are co-designed with participants and developed with their advisory board. Previous sessions provided positive outcomes around young people identifying an improvement in their wellbeing feeling more able to express themselves and developing positive relationships.
