The funding will support Weaver Vale Housing Trust to deliver their ‘Raising Aspirations’ project over 3 years. They will provide a tailored individual employability support programme for adults 18+that are unemployed/ economically inactive or on low income across Winsford Northwich and the surrounding rural area in Cheshire West. Weaver Vale Housing Trust (WVHT) are a mutual benefit society a Social Housing provider owning and managing 6300 homes in Cheshire. They operate with 276 staff members. They also provide employment advice debt and money management and support services to both people who live in their homes and the wider community. Since 2016 the project has successfully helped 824 hard to reach people to move forward. Of those; 169 went into work 141 education/training and 217 more able to job search independently.
