The funding will be used to continue to provide a support group meeting and social space for Syrian refugees and their families in Gateshead and Newcastle. They will expand the service to provide employment opportunities and support and continue to provide participants with one-to-one advice help with completing applications and CVs enable them to access healthcare services ESOL classes and further education. The aim is to reduce isolation and improve wellbeing.
