The Avon Valley Railway Heritage Trust in Britain will use an award to hold a special World War Two Commemoration Weekend on the 9th and 10th July. The event will include a reminiscence workshop with local schoolchildren followed by a performance from a theatre company, role-play and re-enactment groups, and the train station will provide a WW2 theme with a military vehicle display and people in period dress.
