The Royal Engineers Museum will use a grant to co-ordinate a series of events aimed at commemorating the 60th Anniversary of the end of WW2. Over five days, over 300 children from local schools will be invited to experience what life was like for evacuees during the War. Dressed in period costume, they will be involved in a number of interactive activities designed to illustrate various aspects of the War.
