Poverty Truth Network-Economics For All (GB-CHC-1087053-006Qv00000DY7dx)

We will bring together people experiencing poverty and others with responsibilities and passion for tackling its symptoms and causes to deepen our understandings of the economy as it is and could be. We will: ? host ?Economics For All? days in up to 10 locations across the UK annually, embedded in local Poverty Truth Commissions; ? host annual ?Economics For All? residentials in each of the UK nations, building on work undertaken in recent years with the Carnegie UK Trust; ? host bi-monthly ?Economics For All? online events to learn, inform and act together; and, ? ensure that people with direct ongoing experience of poverty are embedded in the wider programme learning days. Through this shared work, we will ? with others ? identify key messages which highlight the inadequacies of the current systems and develop key building blocks, involving those at the margins, in making the case for alternatives.
