Funding in support of the Women’s Budget Group’s core work to embed feminist analysis within economic policymaking and advance a more equal, green and caring economy. The grant will support research, policy development, advocacy and movement-building focused on issues including care, social security, employment, taxation, housing, wealth inequality and gender-responsive budgeting. Core funding will enable the organisation to influence national economic debates, strengthen collaboration with grassroots women’s organisations, and ensure the experiences of women and marginalised groups are reflected in economic decision-making. The overall aim is to make gender equality a central consideration in how economic policy is designed, implemented and evaluated.
