| Recipient Org: Description | Connect Berwickshire Youth Project (Connect BYP) is a local youth charity supporting young people aged 11 to 25 across Berwickshire. Our core aim is to increase confidence, wellbeing, and employability by offering free, accessible services that meet the real needs of young people and families. We deliver weekly drop-in sessions in Duns, Coldstream, and Eyemouth, providing a safe, welcoming space for young people to connect, take part in activities, access support, and build life skills. We also run: Stepping Stones: a mental health and employability project delivered in partnership with YouthBorders, offering one-to-one support and routes into volunteering Pathways: a practical support project for young people and families experiencing poverty, providing budgeting help, supermarket vouchers, and personalised guidance Our services are free, open all year round, and directly support over 400 young people. We work closely with local schools, services, and partners to make sure our support reaches the right people at the right time. |
