To promote the conservation, restoration and improvement of the forest for public benefit. In doing so, we provide recreational facilities, including accessible routes through the forest; a renewable and local wood fuel supply; opportunities for education and personal development through training in a variety of forestry skills; reduce social isolation by offering several weekly group volunteering sessions; and promote health and wellbeing by encouraging outdoor activity and social interaction.
