Recipient Org: Description Carers of West Dunbartonshire is a community based carers? organisation who provide a broad range of services and support to carers across West Dunbartonshire. They run a carers? centre which offers opportunities for drop in, group support sessions and social and therapeutic sessions. They use carers? support workers to provide a programme of tailored support for carers who register with them . This enables carers to identify their own needs design their own support and access it for as long as they need to. They work in partnership with West Dunbartonshire Council to deliver the Carers Support strategy required by the Carers (Scotland) Act. They have a team of 4 full time and 10 part time staff. Their work is supported by 20 volunteers.
