| Recipient Org: Description | Street Connect helps people break free and stay free from drug/alcohol addiction and related life-controlling issues like homelessness and poor mental health in areas of high multiple deprivation. We offer our participants hope and the opportunity to realize their fullest potential for a more fulfilling, substance-free life. Leveraging the live experience of our staff (48% overall; 62% frontline), we make first contact with people in need via street/café outreach before offering one-to-one and group-based support for recovery, job/life skills training, and supported rehab referrals. Post-rehab, our Aftercare programme includes 3 move-on flats to give participants the space/time to readjust to living independently in the community whilst maintaining recovery. |
