Recipient Org: Description We are a locally run charity who are based in shop premises within Clyde Shopping Centre and are open 6 days each week. We provide mobility scooters, manual and powered wheelchair services to residents of West Dunbartonshire and surrounding areas. This allows individuals who are elderly or have mobility issues to get in and around the shopping centre to shop, meet up with friends or just go for a coffee. This allows their independence and to feel part of their community. We deliver a drop-off and pick up service of the scooter and wheelchairs whereby our members can call the shop when they arrived and leave the shopping centre. With the help of our staff and volunteers, we will deliver the equipment requested. The service is situated within the Clyde Shopping Centre. The staff / volunteers can meet our service users at car parks, bus stops, train stations or taxi ranks.
