Recipient Org: Charity Number SC047569
Recipient Org: Description The Three Towns Growers is an allotment and community garden. We have 50 plots and 50 raised beds that the local community can rent. We have 49 on the waiting list. The allotments also has honey bees, wildlife pond, bat boxes, pumpkin patch and our serene willow wood. These additions have not only improved our bio diversity but also made us a learning space for schools and the community. We have a community plot that the community and groups can learn about plant to plate. Everything produced on this plot is free for the groups to take home. This proved an asset this summer as we ran a summer programme for young people. We also run free events throughout the year, these include potato day, easter event, duck day, halloween and yuletide. Our mission statement is to cultivate the community to grow.
