Recipient Org: Charity Number SC037461
Recipient Org: Description The Parents Inclusion Network aims to improve the life of families who have a child with a disability by bringing people together, providing information and knowledge, and advocating on behalf of families. We organise events exclusively for our families during the school holidays so that they can come together in a safe non judgemental environment, have fun and make friendships. We also run a closed Facebook page where parents can post any issues that they are having and gain advice and knowledge from others who are in a similar situation. We provide emotional support and signpost parents to services that can also offer support and training. Additionally, our organisation provides advocacy and support when requested at statutory meetings with services such as Health, Social Work and Education.
