Recipient Org: Description Formed in September 2002, Dalavich Improvement Group (DIG) is focussed on developing, managing and sustaining community land and other assets, provision of recreational facilities and activities, advancing community development including rural regeneration, and the protection and enhancement of the environment for the benefit of residents within the Avich area, comprising the settlements of Dalavich, Inverinan, Lochavich, and Kilmaha, in Argyll. The organisation owns a number of community assets, including a community centre that is leased to Dalavich Social & Recreational Society, a playground, an area of foreshore, a meadow, other open spaces in the community, as well as a number of buildings including a community laundry and storerooms. It also organises a number of annual events such as a summer fun day and the annual fireworks display.
