Recipient Org: Description Annandale community transport services provide affordable and accessible transport for those living in Annandale and Eskdale. We have 1700 members and over the last year alone we have provided over 1400 journeys to hospital and shopping and getting people out and about to appointments and socially to groups and for lunches. This improves wellbeing and also enables those who need support getting to hospital vital transport to attend especially when journeys by taxi are unaffordable and when they don?t qualify for ambulance transport. We also provide minibuses with driver and without (to trained drivers) for hire to get local schools on trips and to sporting events, to get local clubs on day trips or to day centres or sporting events and we also provide a calendar of day trips throughout the year to our travel club members.
