Recipient Org: Description 1st Molesey Scout Group is a registered charity and member of the Scout Association, governed by their Policy, Organisation and Rules of the Scout Association. The scout group is also known as the 1st Molesey (Jaguar) sea scout group, and they are now doing some activities 'back on the water, after 'a number of years away'. The group have retained Royal Navy Recognition as a sea scout group. Their main aim as a scout group is to promote the development of children and young people (ages 6 - 15 years) to achieve their full potential, by providing training in a fun and stimulating environment._x000D_ _x000D_ e are a Sea Scout group of approximately 100 young people and volunteer adult leaders._x000D_ Since 1909 we have offered the adventure of Scouting in Molesey, Surrey and currently provide fun and adventurous activities to around 100 boys and girls aged between 6 and 18._x000D_ We are extremely proud to be one of only 103 British Sea Scout Groups recognised and supported the Royal Navy. Being based close to the River Thames means we can offer an exciting range of water activities._x000D_ Recognised as one of the most successful groups in the area we operate a Beaver colony (6 - 8yrs), Cub pack (8 - 10.5yrs) and Sea Scout troop (10.5 - 14yrs).
