Recipient Org: Description Bright Shadow's mission is to enable people with dementia and those affected by it to live well and to thrive. Creativity and performance are used to celebrate the present moment and create means and opportunities for people with dementia to express themselves, interact with others and take part in meaningful activity. This is achieved through delivering 'Zest' workshops and programmes for people living with dementia and their carer's, in care settings and the community. Bright Shadow also deliver training for care staff and activity workers, produce resources to enable those working with people with dementia to deliver meaningful and creative activities, and deliver creative public awareness raising events._x000D_ _x000D_ Bright Shadow was established on 2011 and is a limited company with two part-time staff and two volunteers. Bright shadow aim to become a charity in future and this will be discussed at their next board meeting. The company has an advisiory board of 4 people.
