Recipient Org: Description Alliance of Surrey Mediation Services (ASMS) combines the activities of the 5 separate Charitable Community Mediation Services in Surrey in the provision and development of dispute resolution services for the population of Surrey. It acts as the single point of contact for Surrey wide funding, mediation development, community mediation, foundation training for volunteer mediators, shared best practice, and co-ordination of Surrey wide initiatives including; Restorative justice, Anti-Social Behaviour service and Intergenerational Mediation (IG). The alliance also facilitates the allocation of funds for these Surrey wide initiatives. The 5 separate Charitable Community Mediation Services are as follows: East Surrey Community Mediation, Mediation North Surrey, Mediation First, Mid Surrey Mediation and West Surrey Mediation. ASMS employs 3 part-time staff who are supported by 21 volunteers and a management committee of 6.
