Recipient Org: Description Richmond Fellowship (RF) is a national registered mental health charity and company limited by guarantee. RF supports people aged 18+ within the community. Nationally, the charity is involved not only in helping individuals to take control of their lives and journeys with their mental health, but also in having a voice in national policy-making. The charity helps people with complex needs, where mental health issues may be coupled with addiction or substance misuse, isolation, homelessness, abusive relationships, poor job prospects or lack of basic education, and they work alongside a range of other services to ensure that an individual has access to a tailored package of care. The charity runs care homes and supported housing schemes and a range of ‘wellbeing services’ to help people engage with social networks and peer support, as well as employment services. Richmond Fellowship provides more than 120 services across England. The Richmond Fellowship Group has 4 subsidiary companies: My Time CIC; 2 Care which is also a company limited by guarantee, a registered charity and a registered provider of social housing; CAN; Croftlands Trust (registered charity); and Aquarius Action Projects (registered charity). The group is governed by 11 Board members. Surrey County Council and the Clinical Commissioning Groups commission charities in each Borough of Surrey to provide services in the local communities offering emotional and wellbeing support. These services are offered under the banner of ‘Community Connections’. RF is the Community Connections lead for Spelthorne, Tandridge, Runnymede, and Reigate and Banstead. RF tenders for funding from Surrey County Council and Clinical Commissioning Groups, and distributes this to East Surrey Community Connections.
