| Purpose of Organisation | We are the local branch of Parkinson's UK (Woking and Weybridge) who are there to offer help and support to those who are suffering from Parkinson's and their carers. We are there to offer motivation and stimulation and friendship to those with this disease and their carers, We offer chair based exercises, singing (you loose your voice and your smile), hydrotherapy to help with rigidity. We hold a wellbeing class every Thursday with encompasses exercise, speech therapy, mind games and puzzels. All these are to stimulate the brain. We also arrange monthly lunches, meetings and outings. |
