Purpose of Organisation The Raleigh School is a state-funded Primary Academy School based in West Horsley for children aged 4-11. The school has over 400 pupils from West and East Horsley and the surrounding area, who are provided with 7 years of education. The school converted to academy status in August 2011. The school aims to provide a caring environment, put children first and provide an education which embraces academic ability, social, emotional and physical skills, moral reasoning, the wider community and the environment. The school has around 65 full and part-time staff including teaching and admin staff, lunch time supervisors and a caretaker, and each class also has a teaching assistant.
