We strive to educate relevant professionals and the public through a range of events and promote and publish research on rare diseases to increase understanding and empathy and encourage investment in better diagnosis, support, care and treatment for those affected. We support families affected by rare diseases (RD) through our 'Unique Feet'(UF) community group, where children, young people, young adults and their families feel connected, understood and supported, reducing the isolation that stems from being 'rare'. We provide local, accessible, inclusive activities and services to meet their needs. |
