Recipient Org: Charity Number 1179402
Recipient Org: Description The organisation’s three key objectives, as stated in its constitution, are: (i) Advancement of education (including social and physical training) of people under the age of 25 years in such ways as the Trustees shall think fit. (ii) Providing learning opportunities for students attending the Nicolaus Copernicus Peterborough Polish School via both structured activities and after school clubs (iii) Working in partnership with other agencies and organisations with similar objectives These objectives are satisfied primarily by the organisation’s operation of a school on 30 Saturdays per year specialising in the teaching of Polish language, history, geography and culture. However, in more recent years, we have begun to collaborate with other organisations, notably Peterborough City Council, to provide additional benefits to our students and parents and also to promote community cohesion. To this end, since September 2019, we have operated a Parent Community Café during school hours.
