Recipient Org: Description Ramsey Neighbourhoods Trust (RNT) is a community development charity working with and for residents of the rural town of Ramsey and surrounding villages to offer activities and services to reduce disadvantage and improve their quality of life. Our primary aims are to: -Strengthen communities in Ramsey by working collaboratively for the benefit of all -Promote active citizenship, supporting people to get involved in decision-making processes, finding solutions which help individuals and their communities to thrive -Reduce local inequalities, creating a more inclusive, resilient environment. -Improve the health and life chances of residents -Introduce, commission and deliver services to achieve the above. To deliver on its aims, RNT creates positive partnerships and runs various activities, which include: SPARKS, a group for adults with additional needs, 2 term-time youth clubs (BOSH for 5-10-year-olds, CRUNCH for 11-16s) and holiday playschemes; Toddler Time group; healthy walks; exercise groups including Swan ballet and Tai Chi; social craft groups. We run Job Search for free training and 1:1 help with employability, Ramsey's weekly market, the Great Whyte Dine-Out events, celebratory street parties and outdoor cinema. We actively support people of all ages and abilities through volunteering, training and work opportunities to enhance their development and life chances.
