| Recipient Org: Description | Girl Guiding is the leading charity for girls in the UK. We give girls the confidence to make a positive difference and to develop their potential. Attending Brownies will enable girls to make new friends, enjoy fun and exciting activities and provide them with a variety of opportunities and experiences. We will meet once weekly and each meeting will be well planned and organised to according to the Girl Guide association guidelines. Brownies are encouraged to work together in small groups, to govern themselves and make decisions, to care for the individual and share a commitment to a common standard. All staff have been DBS checked. The unit will be run in accordance with the GirlGuiding association policies including first aid and safeguarding. |
