Recipient Org: Description Mrs West started the club in 2000 to help her mother who had recently moved to the area, to meet people and make friends. The club meets weekly, providing a safe place for mature ladies to meet and enjoy a social life, share problems and the good times. Receive support in times of ill health, bereavement and just getting older. We organise group holidays and days out; each meeting is different, with entertainment, dancing, lunches, speakers, games always a cup of tea, a biscuit and a chat. Great friendships have been formed over the years. Loneliness is kept at bay.
