Recipient Org: Description Promote sustainable recovery through empowering women and girls to live free from sexual violence Provide high quality holistic services that are responsive to the needs of the individuals Promote equality of access and opportunity for all women and girls who have experienced sexual violence • Information, support and referral telephone helpline for victims and survivors of any form of sexual violence including rape, sexual assault, childhood sexual abuse, sexual harassment and sexual exploitation. • Specialist support and advocacy for victims/survivors throughout the Criminal Justice System. ISVAs work in partnership with criminal justice agencies to provide a service to victim’s/survivors involved in the criminal justice process. ISVAs also provide access to a range of information including sexual health and well-being support. • Specialist, confidential counselling and support is provided to an individual who has experienced any form of sexual violence and who live or work in the areas of Thurrock, Basildon, Brentwood, Harlow and Epping. All counsellors are trained. Counselling is free and can be offered through 'face to face' or telephone support.
