| Recipient Org: Description | Havens Hospices provides palliative nursing and supportive care to adults and children living with complex or incurable conditions, who live across Essex. Our specialist Care Teams provide support and comfort for patients and their families throughout illness, death, and bereavement. We are the only hospice in the UK that supports people of ALL ages with complex and/or life-limiting conditions, from cradle to old age. We do this through our three specialist services: Fair Havens for adults, the J’s which provides community-based support for those aged 16 – 40 years old, and Little Havens Hospice for children. Havens Hospices believes everybody deserves the best possible quality of life, and thus we offer individually tailored care for the physical, emotional, and spiritual support of each and every person who needs us. In doing this, we continue our mission of Making Every Day Count for people in our community with life-limiting illnesses and their loved ones. |
