| Recipient Org: Description | We support children and adults with Down Syndrome, We provide support to all our members and their families from help with form filing to running various activities to promote development. Upwards with Downs provides various activities and service for our members such as listed below: 1-1 Speech Therapy Occupational therapy Physiotherapy Signing and Makaton Lessons - under 5 Group Little Alice club - under 5 group Weekly Preschool meet (mainly term time but occasionally meet outside term time) Monthly music and Drama sessions Dance classes Subsidised 1-1 swimming lessons Family fun swim Subsidised performing arts classes Soft play events Day trips Music Therapy Regular Disco for people with Down Syndrome their family and friends Activities like these help our members to progress and reach their full potential. The monthly disco provides a safe, secure and fun environment for all our members to socialise and meet new friends. |
