Recipient Org: Description Our aims and objectives remain the same since we last gained funding from ECF however to reiterate these here is to note that our statement of purpose is 'Helping local people face incurable illness and bereavement'. Our central charitable objective remains 'to promote the relief of illness and suffering in such ways as the hospice from time to time thinks fit in the county of Essex and adjacent areas'. We achieve this aim by providing specialist end of life care and bereavement services to patients, their families and friends. St Helena Hospice also provides advice and education to colleagues working in palliative care and co-ordinates end of life services 24/7 which includes the hosting of an electronic end of life register.
