Southwark school food commissioning transformation programme (360G-GSTC-GRA02064)
This multi-year joint programme of borough-wide work with Southwark Council aims to transform the procurement and commissioning structure for school food. The programme also aims to increase support for schools and build stronger accountability mechanisms for schools and caterers to deliver nutritious food. Four key workstreams underpin the transformation programme: 1. Supporting schools to share what works well, 2.Investing in targeted support and training, 3. Improving co-ordination by moving towards a centrally commissioned school food offer, 4. Putting into place effective governance and accountability mechanisms.
