Black Identity Nexus (360G-GSTC-GRA02422)
Centric will be trialling and testing new approaches to the delivery of community research via appropriate methodologies developed to identify nuances specific to subgroups within each community. The black identity nexus is a concept that serves to disaggregate research data by identifying nuances specific to subgroups within the black communities and, further to this, inter-class nuances, ensuring data remains segmented from data gathering, analyses and into recommendations and reporting. Such approaches are new to the sector and provide the opportunities to identify health data that is specific to minorities within black communities and develop and invest in health interventions that directly address inequalities experienced within these subgroups.
