Recipient Org: Description The Hummingbird Centre (Midlands) provides support to anyone affected by cancer (any cancer). This includes people with a cancer diagnosis, people living with cancer, carers and families. Our aim is to improve the physical and mental wellbeing of people affected by cancer and to reduce feelings of isolation. The main objectives for The Hummingbird Centre are: • To provide a focal point for non-medical cancer support within the area . To provide a welcoming and comfortable drop-in facility for anyone affected by cancer • To deliver a range of complementary therapies and counselling sessions for people diagnosed with or affected by cancer • To coordinate a range of relaxation, exercise and other activities to support the wellbeing of people diagnosed with or affected by cancer • To deliver a range of training and information sessions for people diagnosed with or affected by cancer
