Recipient Org: Description | BHLHS was founded in 1979 with the aim of promoting interest in our local history. To meet our aims we work with local schools and community groups organizing displays, exhibitions, historical trails and other events. We work with other local community groups and organisations - such as Moseley Road Baths, Balsall Heath Library and Balsall Heath Forum when they have events on. We support them with displays and exhibition material. We also produce publications and publish a monthly newsletter. Interest in the society is very high in the local area as well as attracting wider audiences. |
