| Recipient Org: Description | We empower local church members to club together to buy houses to house the homeless. Investors then lease the property to us for a rent of a 2% annual return on their investment and we then, in partnership with the church, provide individual support plans to enable residents to gain the life skills necessary to cope with living independently. Residents stay for up to two years and are supported by an empowerment worker and mentors/befrienders from the church. We have our first house in Coventry with three tenants who were previously street homeless. Westwood Church are partnering with us. |
