| Recipient Org: Description | St Andrews Church is a local Church of England church situated in the middle of Chelmsley Wood estate. We have an active mission and ministry with a wide range of engaging activities and events that seek to support the growth of all ages within our community from faith based and of none tackling issues around mental health, well being and community cohesion to encourage a stronger, more collaborative community working together and breaking down barriers of social exclusion, poverty and anti social behaviour. Six years ago the church embarked on a new pathway of pioneering new streams on work with pioneer leaders and since we have seen a huge footfall of connectivity with families and young people in which we are trying to grow and sustain. |
