Recipient Org: Description | Aanchal Women's Aid exists to support women and children affected by domestic abuse. Our mission is to see a society where no person lives with abuse or fear of abuse. We realise this vision by holding specialist activities in three main work streams which support Rescue, Rebuild and Rehabilitate. These are: 1) Stopping the Violence - respond to low, medium and high risk referrals. 2) Educate, Empower and Heal - provision of specialist programmes and 3) Prevent - for lasting change, delivering training and awareness in communities and institutions by challenging and changing behaviours and attitudes to eradicate the occurrence of domestic abuse. |
