| Recipient Org: Description | Polish School of Maria Konopnicka Willesden Green is one of the oldest and largest Polish Saturday Schools in Great Britain. Our activity is aimed at Polish children who want to learn about their native language, history as well as Polish customs and traditions. Our School is a charitable institution that lives on donations from parents. However, these revenues cover only the costs related to the rental of the building, symbolic salaries for teachers and administrative costs. To improve our budget, we organize additional activities, such as a cafe, fairs (books or cakes), souvenir photos with Santa. |
